Pond and water feature building in North Texas

Koi ponds, water gardens, waterfalls and fountains for homes in the north Dallas-Fort Worth suburbs. We draw your pond in 3D before any construction begins, so you see it before we dig.

What we build

Koi ponds

Deep, filtered ponds for fish, with room for plants and a place to sit and watch them.

Water gardens

Planted ponds with or without goldfish, built to stay balanced through a Texas summer.

Waterfalls and streams

Falls and runs of natural stone that can stand alone or feed a pond.

Fountains

Wall, basin and bubbling fountains for a patio or an entry.

Natural and recreational ponds

Larger ponds for swimming or wading, built with a professional's care for safety and clean water.

Large and farm ponds

We also build, service and repair large ponds and farm ponds.

How we plan a pond for North Texas

The ground

Blackland clay shrinks and swells with the weather, and western Denton County soils change from one yard to the next. We look at what is under your yard first, then set the shape, the edge and the liner with that movement in mind.

The heat

With summer highs in the mid-90s, a shallow pond warms fast and loses water every day. We plan depth, shade from plants and pump size for July, not for April.

The water rules

Town watering schedules are written for sprinklers, but they shape how the plants around a new pond get started. Celina, for one, runs staged rules that limit water waste. We check your town's current rules before we plan the fill and the planting.

Your HOA and the town

The 3D design is a clear picture to take to your neighborhood's review committee. Some towns need a permit for a pond; Argyle lists ponds among the projects that need one. We work the approvals into the timeline.

Questions

We cannot promise any committee's answer, but we give you what they usually ask to see: the 3D design of the pond, the stone and the lighting, where it sits on the lot, and what goes around it. If the committee asks for changes, we adjust the design before anything is built.
